CONFIDENCE
If there’s anything kids need now, it’s a healthy dose of confidence. And we know of no better place to develop that than in the performing arts. We’ve seen it over again. Kids come in and they aren’t too sure of themselves, but with the encouragement of their leaders and their peers, confidence blooms and they learn to kick fear in the face. It’s an amazing process and it works.
RELATIONSHIPS
As parents ourselves, we know how important it is for kids to learn how to develop healthy relationships with their peers. In theatre, kids learn to be dependable and to support each other. They push past their fears together and they must be able to trust each other. These are all great tools to have in their relationship toolbox that they can develop through theatre.
