Ages 10–14 · Based on the book by Kate DiCamillo, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane tells the story of an expensive, vain, and self-centered china rabbit named Edward. Exceptionally loved by a little girl named Abilene, Edward cares for no one but himself. During an ocean voyage, he is accidentally thrown overboard and sinks to the bottom of the sea. Over the decades, Edward passes through the hands of a grieving fisherman's family, a hobo and his loyal dog, and an impoverished young boy caring for his ailing sister. Through loss, heartbreak, and unexpected friendships, Edward's porcelain heart undergoes a miraculous transformation as he learns how to love, how to lose love, and how to find the courage to love again.
